Engine

Featuring the C13 ACERT engine, the A86 develops 425 horsepower at 2,100 rpm and a maximum of 459 horsepower at 1,900 rpm with power bulge.

Large Grain Bin

The A86 has a 350 bushels (12,334 L) grain bin which means that more time can be spent harvesting, and less time unloading.

Fast Unloading Rate

The A86 offers the industries quickest unloading rate with a peak rate of 4.5 bushels per second (per ISO5687) (158lbs/sec). This means that a full grain tank can be unloaded in 88 seconds.

Easy Access

Well Designed - Featuring fully opening side panels, the A86 gives easy access to all points of the combine. The large open engine bay compartment allows easy un-hindered access to all maintenance points.

Less Maintenance

Due to the hydrostatic drive, the A86 feature far less belts, chains and right angle drives than other brands of combines. This represents less maintenance and cheaper running costs.

Easier Adjustments

The A86 has been designed to allow most routine adjustments to be done from ground level. Items that cant be reached from ground level can be reached via handy platforms which assist with access. Most greasing point can be done from ground level and are grouped in easy access banks on either side of the combine.

Rotor Drive - Hydrostatic Constant Speed Drive

The A86 features a three range hydrostatic drive with constant speed function. The hydrostatic drive offers a low maintenance drive mechanism without the requirement for drive belts or right angled gearboxes.  The constant speed feature ensures maximum threshing capacity is achieved in all conditions.

Rotor Features

Industries Longest Rotor – The rotor length on the A86 is 140”, with a 31.5” diameter.

Centre Pivot Concaves 

The A86 offers one of the industries largest concave areas. Utilising a three section arrangement, the concave has 3 separate elements per section and offers a centre pivot design for greater concave adjustability.
